Garth Worthington School is the first “21st Learning Environment” Edmonton Public Schools (EPSB) has built. As a team partner in the Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) method, Baytek aided in both design and construction of the new school type. Tasked with incorporating demountable partitions, the school was designed to have walls open up into larger spaces or the adjacent classroom for co-teaching of multiple classes. Fixtures and furniture were designed to accommodate the flexibility required.
